I'm hooked on Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, guess it's the Hammond organ, I love that instrument. I'm even considering to see him play in Dortmund in November, although of course he's been a lot cooler in the 60's/70's...

And because this came up in a discussion & I'm bored, I decided to create my Top 10 of Monkee pants (with "illustrations"):
Okay... let's see. I think this is gonna be heavy on the Peter & Mike side, just because I think they have the prettiest legs...

1. It's got to be Mike's red brown pants that he wears in the Rainbow Room videos (actually I think all their pants in that videos are fab). I really can't help but stare past the one that's singing at that pants. It's worst in Randy Scouse Git.
   
   
    
2. The velvety pants Peter wears. He has a blue and a red pair, I prefer the red one.
   
   
   
    
3. Their beach outfits.

5. This pair of Mike's. Pretty similar to the red brown ones, but boy has he legs in that pair! ;)

7. These grey pants.
   
    
8. Mike's dark stripy pants (he also has a lighter pair, but these look better)
   
   
    
9. Davy's white jeans(?) in 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee (crappy pic, sorry).

Hahaha, while searching for good scenes to cap I actually thought "Someone should do this for shirts, some of them are just ace". But yes, yes, make your own Top 10, I'd like to see it! :D

Oh, and talking 'bout shirts: Did they just have the same ones or did they exchange them a lot? You know that one green shirt that Micky, Mike and Peter wore at some point, but never at the same time? It makes me very suspicious...

:DD Shirts are more difficult, I think - I have a few favourites, including the #1 shirt, but somehow their pants just get my attention more easily. ;)

I think they exchanged them, yeah. Is this the shirt you're referring to? 'Cause my computer screen is stupid and doesn't sometimes like to show green colour, so I see this as blue, but I think I saw it as blue even when my display wasn't stupid. :D But it's the only shirt I can posivitely say they've all worn (Davy wore this in Prince and the Pauper). :D

There's a lot great stuff on there. I believe that they shared clothes. The "Flip" magazines that I have read insist that they don't, but, there are too many items that pop up on more than one monkee. I have a theory that the red pants mike wears in the "rainbow room" are the same red pants peter wears in other episodes. I'm not sure, but i think they are corduroy.

But I'm with you: they were sharing. Just take that light blue shirt with the wide sleeves that Davy wears, when Peter wears an identical/the same shirt it fits him a lot tighter... I think it's the same.

Actually I love it! The video for No Time is probably the only time Mike is acting really really goofy while the others aren't. Oh, and it's hilarious how his belt seems to be almost at the height of Davy's sternum.
